| Im looking to get one locally. as soon as I obtain one Ill start working on a prototype. I already had the flange burnt out of 3/8th mild steel. I also purchased a collector as well. as soon as I have a prototype I will break it apart and send in the primary tubes to a mandrel bender and see what its going to take to make like 10 sets. | |

| I know i am in the market for one and like the way you did yours. It will really open up the power after I get the cam and finish off the 7ac i am building. I already have a ported head. So pretty much just need the headers to finish off my full exhaust system. | |

| what kind of porting are we talking? Can you do over size valves too? It's too cold to drive my 86 right now anyways. I can have the head off and in a box in a couple hours. | |

| only a machine shop can oversize valves. I can port match to your intake manifold (Helps ALOT). Also there is a huge LIP where they press in the valve seat into the head. This lip is a huge RAMP the incoming air has to get over to get into the engine. The 4ac is particularly bad in this area. Also there is a huge LUMP in the center of your intake port called a "swirl" generator. What it really is, is a huge barrier the air has to get around to get into the head. | |

| Just figured I'd go ahead and post that there is a 4A-C Header and downpipe on eBay for $175 (+$45 S&H). Compared to what some people have been willing to shell out, that's a pretty slamming deal. And considered there haven't been any bids, I just assumed you all hadn't had a chance to see it yet. | |

Thanks for the heads up slowtech, you had good intentions but maybe you should have pmed Ace123. Now I'm afraid you might have started a bidding war

Now I'm afraid you might have started a bidding war I'm non-partisan. Personally, I think Ace's set that he made look more beefy/effective than these. I don't think you should be worried about Ace, really, he already has headers, he was just trying to be nice to everyone else. I think you should be worried about N3r0.dv@gmail.com considering he said he'd pay 600-700 for a set. Maybe I should PM him. just saying...

| No more header on ebay, or at least i'm too dumb to find it. Anyways, do you still need my head and manifold to copy? I never heard from you for an address so it's still on the car. | |

You are not sir. It has disappeared from my RSS feed meaning he sold it outside of eBay or he decided to keep it.

| Yeah its gone. I think what im going to do is take the header off my car and put it down for a week or so and map out a new header that is just as beefy as the one I have but more practical for the everyday user.
I have a flange burnt out so I will pull up the AE to the garage in the next couple of days and see what I can put together.
Edit: I guess I need somewhat of a vote. If I map out this header, do I need to make it fit a stock intake manifold, or are most of the people interested in these wanting a header for a custom intake?
