| I am sure that it can be done. Lots of custom fabrication would most likely be involved. Probably not worth the effort and expense. What would be the point? | |

| Ah, I thought you were talking about turning a FWD car into RWD. In the basic engine there is nothing fundamentally FWD or RWD. Some of the external parts are different, inlet manifold, accessory arrangement, etc. | |

| Anything is possible with enough money and time. I'd love to see a mid engined AE82 of somekind, like an FX. It could be like the "Shogun" cars a decade ago where someone made a business out of sticking Taurus SHO engines amidships into Ford Festivas.
Or even earlier then that when Renault stuck a 200+ hp engined amid ships into their R5 coupes, then raced them in the old Group-B rally class. (we here in the USA know em as "LeCars"
A mid engine corolla FX with IMSA style box flares.. yum! | |
