| Refer to number #1. It's a pretty dificult concept to grasp I know.
We're all here to help but don't have alot of patience for people that ask questions that can be answered by using the search function. If you really care and really want to learn, you'll use it.

| Parts don't make good drifts. You have everything you need already: a RWD car. | |

| you don't go gung-ho with crazy upgrades to learn drifting. Only upgrade as you out grow your car.
Seat time, seat time, seat time, tires, seat time, seat time, good spring/shocks, seat time, LSD/Welded, seat time, seat time, more suspension, even more seat time, power, seat time.
^theres your upgrade list to drifting lol

| You'll eventually need it, so sure. Now drifting a Corolla is not like any other kind of car. You have to kick the shit out of it. Practice clutch kicks and flick techniques. If you're afraid of hurting the car, don't waste your time. | |

| Clutch kicking sounds like its insanely bad for your drivetrain. It's not something that I would do unless I wanted to to break the trans or rear end. | |

| clutch kicking a 4ac won't do much too your drive train except tear up your clutch. Speed, Momentum, and feints are your friend. | |

| Usually the first things that break are the axle shafts, but just upgrade to a GTS rear end and a 4AC will never hurt it. But you'll blow up the clutch before then. Again, easy upgrade to Spec or ACT or TRD etc. | |

+1 Even doing a 4age swap would help but still need to clutch kit it a lot. This car even in its GTS state still lacks power. A lot of people will tell you seat time cause that is the only way to learn. And PLEASE PLEASE don't just start drifting corner after corner cause you will never learn anything. Go to a clear parking lot and bring 2 pylon cones with you. set them up maby 50 to 60 ft apart. then practice going in circles around them and learn your cars speed and grip point. These 2 alone will put you ahead of a lot of beginners. Knowing how your car handles and knowing what its going to do is the main point of drifting. It may look easy on tv and I admit I wish I could drift at 90mph but it scares the shit out of me. I do drift here and there but with the lack of POWER your really not gonna do alot. The question you should always ask is to do a ride along when you and a few buddies go drifting. when you see how drifting is done from inside another persons car and seeing what they do will trip you out. But pick up a copy of the drift bible and watch it like 50 times and then go out and do the parking lot thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp3vURFCwe4
