| powersteering is for PU****S! lol jk. Ummm..i say better with out for the fact that it 1 builds muscle in your arms and 2 perdictable and 3..its a boss thing to do and 4 if you get a manual rack with P/S knuckles you get GOD MODE ANGLE! | |

| Some AE86's came with manual steering but they are hard to find now. Lot's of people get the manual racks out of first gen MR2's (all AW11's had manual steering) and put them in the 86. You can use the manual tie rods and steering knuckles for easier steering or you can use the power steering tie rods and knuckles for more angle but harder steering. | |

| Piece of cake. I feel with manual steering you have a better "feel" for what the car is doing underneath you. It's more direct. | |

| I have never driven a ae86 with power, but I love the manual steering... you should have no problems getting that thing sideways. | |

| Once the car is going faster than about 5mph, you can't tell a difference between power steering and manual in these cars. | |

| I agree ^, disabled power steering or manual steering with power steering knuckles. | |
