| I'm running 2 1/4 piping as well, and it runs fine..a bit loud imo but its probably my muffler. | |

- let me ask you a question.... your running a 2.5 inch pipe right? exactly how much modifications and power are you getting out of the 4ac?
I assume this was directed to me? I am running 2.25" pipe, and I am getting something in the neighborhood of 100HP at the flywheel. My motor makes more torque than stock and feels like it has plenty of low end power, but for all I know it might make more torque with a 2" exhaust, and not give up anything at top end of the power band. I wonder at times if I should have choosen the smaller size. Hopefully I will get more power after the fuel injection conversion, and get closer to justifying the 2.25" pipe.

I'm going with a 2inch daimeter and making a custom baffle for my magnaflow stright thru muffler. This little engine needs back pressure for a nice launch off the line. This is my thought though. No one has to agree with me. just use this exhaust system and end of the story dont forget to post pics of the ppl throwing coins into ur muffler at the traffic light

I would like to see a ricer on the street with this type of exhuast style ahahaha One word. "BOSOZOKU". I may have spelled it wrong. I just call it boso for short. In Japan, these guys are CRAZY NUTZ. I mean, "totaly overboard" Its awsome ! Boso has been around forever, I think the style really kicked off in the late 60's. Those are called "victory pipes" and boso is "ALL ABOUT THE PIPES !". Check this vid out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJoMBp_F0jI

...... I didn't think Doug Thorley made headers for the 4ac. Only for the 22r, 20r, and 7mge /gte, for those years.... Can you post up a pic ?
