| I wanted to thank a member on here, Heeroborn, for doing service for us at the Idaho Rally. In rally you drive all over the place, and they usually have a remote service (somewhere other than where you parked your tow / service vehicle) halfway through the day. He drove our service vehicle to the remote services and helped us with the maintenance, tire changes, and refueling. We came in third in class on Friday, and fourth on Saturday. I was waiting for someone to post some pictures of the race, and had just about given up when these came up. So here are some pictures: The car and the transporter in the service park. An AE86 GTS What was left of an AE82 FX16 after it burnt to the ground. No one was injured. I read that overly hot brakes caused the fire. We drove by them right after they stopped and they were out of the car and waved us on, and there was only a small amount of smoke. 2-3 minutes later when the next car came by it was engulfed in flames. They shut that stage of the rally down, we were the last car to make it through. | |

| Looks fun! I wish we had a rally spot around here.
I love the action shot of the ZX2. BTW, what kind of wing is that?

| No idea what the wing is, it came with the car. Biggest benefit I can figure is that it keeps dust from getting in the mounting holes that are otherwise empty. | |

Well actually you do have one that is not too far away. Rallye de Paris in Paris, Texas (http://www.rallyengr.com/). It's at your end of Texas. 222 miles from Natchitoches to Paris. Theres only one rally that we drive less than that to get to. Thanks for posting the pictures Heeroborn!
