I've been doing my own alignments for years in my garage, and since I'm new to rwd Corollas. (I'm a former Datsun 510 guy.. Hey it was the early '90s when you could still get nice 510's for 300 dollars...) I'm wondering what a good camber/caster/toe-in starting points for TE/AE72 are. I don't plan on drifting, or road racing... Just a mix of commuting and the occasional trip through the twisties. My 'rolla's been lowered using GTS suspension, welded LSD axle on coil overs and camber plates.

I hear alot of drifter peoples like to run -1.5 camber, stock caster (+3.5) with 0 toe in om their DD's.

When I was owning nothing but Datsuns, I ran -1.0 camber, some caster (+2.5) and 1/16 toe in. I'd use that setting but I'm not sure how this would work with a solid axle, and the much better front suspensions 72's have.

Anyone know what the factory alignment specs are for 72's?

I say "play with it" adding some camber is going to give you better responce..

ask here...these guys don't mess around when it comes to the corolla game... AEU86.ORG

Thanks.. I've been playing around with it for a few days now. I'm discovering that -1.5 camber, +2.5 caster, and 1/16 toe in seems to work pretty good for street.

Now I'm at -1 degree camber, stock caster, and 1.5mm toe in. Seems to work alittle better for the street.. :-D
