is it difficult to remove the dash? what all is involved?

It's not so bad. There are a lot of things to remove to get to all 5 bolts. There is one bolt behind the clock cover, and one bolt behind the gauge cover. You have to drop the steering column to get the gauge cluster cover off, or you might be able to just remove the steering wheel. Then there are bolts behind the vents on each side.

The cover that goes around the clock pops off, then you'll see the bolt. The clock screws to the dash with two little screws. I'll look for some pictures.

How do I remove the vents? I broke my clock trim trying to get it off
Id like to avoid breaking anything else if possible!

Just grab em and pull out. The big vent under the clock is a pain. Don't try to pry them out or you'll crack the dash.
