| I know a lot of people on here have made promises and never come thru, but my friend and I are having flanges cut, and building a few headers for ourselves no matter what. IF you want a flange message me or post up here! They should come out to less than $30 shipped. Exact price will be determined by how many are made. They will be a one piece design, with a bridge connecting the two pairs, made of 1/2" steel, compatible with a stock intake. I will have a prototype by the end of the month with pics. We could also have a 'gasket' flange made on request (a flange with the intake ports included so that a custom steel intake could be fashioned. Let me know if you want a 'standard' or 'gasket' style.
Once we have headers I will post up pics and prices. They will be for RWD only.

| If you make a few you could easily make your money back. I sold a few recently on Ebay between $250-450. | |

| AE, I will get you a price once we get the first one done. I don't want to sell something I can't provide.
JJ, That's the plan. They will be cheaper here than on the 'Bay. But for now we CAN provide Flanges for you DIYers. We are having a couple made next week and will have prices then.

| Might be easier to make a 4-2-1 header instead of using those 4-1 collectors. Still, that's a great DIY set up right there. | |

| Hey guys, I'm the friend bulding the pieces, I just got a chance to finish up the initial drawing before I head to work in a few. There is some perfecting that needs to be done and I need to get the first one cut out so we can test fit it. I'm making my drawings off of a gasket so I can't make them available until its all test fitted. Edit: I don't work for another hour, luckily. I worked more on some finishing touches and made a rendering just to share. If you have any ideas or suggestions please let me know. Cheers, Mike | |

| Exhaust flange, to be used with (or without) factory intake. As soon as I get the other flange from the machine shop and can verify that everything fits I will get one of these ordered and build the first header! | |

| Looks good! We have been discussing making the header a 'direct fit' so that it would bolt to the stock down-pipe, and would take no changes except an EGR delete plate. If you guys want we could even provide a bung for it and the O2 sensor, but it would add cost. | |

| Well, I measured it off of a gasket, so some of the measurments are off a little bit, nothing that can't be fixed with some design changes.

| Looks great, and that's a hefty part, better than a lot of aftermarket flanges. | |

| Hefty is what we're going for, I don't like wimpy flanges. The headers on my acura have thin flanges and I'm replacong gaskets constantly.
I'll get the drawing fixed today and have another one cut out ASAP.

| I've been very busy lately working, doing side jobs and getting my corolla roadworthy. I'll adjust the drawing soon and get a new flange made.
EDIT: I just adjusted the drawing after I remembered how. I haven't drawn in a while but I've sent it off, my machinist is out of the shop until monday so we'll have a new flange at the end of the week maybe.

| Hey guys! Update here, New flange was cut and picked up a week ago, bolts right up and is ready to go. We're ready to start building soon and I'd like to get an idea of what kind of materials I'll need to bring in. Who would be interested in what? Flange, Headers, full custom intake/exhaust manifold? | |

| This is my first post. My search for a set of 4AC headers led me here. I would love to buy a set of pacesetter style headers for $200- $300 depending on the collector. | |

| 92gsr welcome! Probably specific FWD or RWD since the headers would be different.
I just had an idea! Would it be possible to make a header and side draft manifold off that flange? It would probably cost both arms and legs, but an all-in-one performance header and intake manifolds would be serious stuff. Since it's made together, it could be internally braced for strength, too.

| 92gsr: I can build whatever you want as long as I have something to mock it up on or dimensions to go by. What kind of collector do you want? Give me some details in a PM.
Eric! Yes! That may be one of the first things I do, I don't have a set of side drafts, but I do have a rack of bike carbs for the same idea. As long as I know what is getting mounted where I can build it. That's actually why I had the first flange cut out like this. Now I have all the dimensions on that plane so I can build custom intakes or exhausts or both in one. I have the full flange and the exhaust flange drawn up but it wouldn't take me 5 minutes to knock out an intake flange drawing. If I know what dimensions the carb flange needed to be I'd even draw up a whole intake/exhaust manifold for you.
Glad to see someone else thinking on the same page!
EDIT: Eric, while reviewing my post and re-reading the thread I just thought about the header design, with a factory intake the headers have to drop at a weird angle to clear the intake manifold, if we built an intake and exhaust on the same flange we could get a straight(er) shot at the ports without having funky bends in there, which means higher flow, better efficiency and MORE POWER! I'm getting giddy just thinking about it.
