| well folks, im curious as to why it seems that it just isnt possible for me to find another dark metallic orange corolla SR5. was there not many made? or did people just not like the color and repaint them? i personally think its an awsome color for a fanastic car (the rust kinda blends in) haha. but yea, what happened to all the orange AE86s? | |

| There is a list of factory colors here: http://www.toyotareference.com/corolla#CO84Is it something like this? (photo from that page) It is probably because you have an 84. My hatch door was actually that color when I got it... it was an 84 only thing. | |

AE82 colors solid was 1. White 2. Creme 3. Wine metallic was 1. Silver 2. Light topaz 3. Shell 4. Light blue 5. Blue 6. Dark orange
AE86 colors solid 1. White 2. Red 3. Yellow 4. Deep blue metallic clear coat solid color 1. Silver 2. Dark orange 3. Light topaz 4. Light blue two tone was 1. Silver/black 2. Red/black
this is the only info the brochure had other than interior colors which was either blue or maroon some had grey

| I feel you Moonerdizzle, I have an 84 Silver/Black two-tone, and when I repaint it I'm keeping the scheme, it looks amazing.
Not to knock the white, black, or red paint jobs, because the Corolla looks amazing no matter what dress you put her in, but it's cool to keep the interesting colors like the Metallic Orange or the two-tone silver/black around.

| Like any forum, we have ups and downs, but we are still very active. I would like to see more pictures, as this is such a rare color. And an option for when I paint my car. | |
