| I would be very disappointed and suprised if you could not make more horsepower than that in a fairly mild turbo 4AC if done correctly. I am sure that Chevy could have made more HP than that if they wanted. It's supposed to be the economy motor option, so they were probably trying more for economy than max power. |

| No it definitely won't make 40 MPG, but he did say "engine specs hp", so I assumed that he was just talking about the power. |

THANKS I was talking about power.
but to mention ; I read on another forum someone said " if the 4AC cant make more then 150 hp , it wouldn't be worth it . just do a 4age swap "
well in that case ; the 4AC modded ( NA/TURBO) will in deed make more HP.
