Just an FYI, there is a front wheel drive and rear wheel drive Corolla in the 84 - 87 years. Parts stores often try to sell you the front drive parts. The computer parts catalogs typically have an odd question that they ask that determines what you get. They ask for body style with two options - "sedan / liftback" and "coupe", the first is front drive and the later the rear drive. And then they may list both rear drive and front drive parts anyway. You really have to be carefull to be sure that you end with the right stuff.
