RADIATOR PICS

do u have any pics of ur ORIGINAL 4AC radiator?
measures(long width etc)
any code or serial number etc

im gonna try to find this rad here in my country
and the shops has a lot of rads,i want to be sure is a 4ac rad or 4A or 3A

Sorry I don't know of any numbers on it, but I know twin-cams and single-cams have the same one. This is the only pic I have of the one out of my SR5:

I also had a radiator out of a GTS I bought but didn't like the way it looked (I thought it was leaking - turns out just dirty) so I sold it to my friend and we put it in his '74 BMW 2002. It looked exactly the same as my SR5 radiator. The water inlet and outlet are both on the passenger side.

how long is ur radiator
and height?

thx to 4acftw that told me ,radiator clamp nuts distance is 20"7/8
I believe the rad is a little more than that
u can confirm this?

im gonna take my metric to the shop
to avoid any risk

i decided to buy the rad after i finish the whole body and put the engine back
then i ll prove /test the new rad and see if it works

before my crash
i tested without the bimetallic or hydro fan
and the temp gauge didnt even get the middle
and the coolant xplod out from the radiator cap

that s a bad cap?
or the rad?

Sounds like a bad thermostat.

i can get measurements 2morrow
