 IS300 Gas Pedal DIY

A few peeps wanted to know how I did this. I made a video that will come out soon. I also took pics.


Some say you gotta bend the rod a little. Not true, it looks that way because the pedal you are changing out is curved on the front. The back of it is flat.


I used a little screwdriver to slide inside the pin to keep it from getting bent. Also it is the same diameter as the pin further up.


Get the pin out, swap and put the pin back in. I used the same little screwdriver.


Mounted back in the car.


The extra bit does help in the heel/toe dept.

Nice, ive been wanting those for a while now. I had one of those big "racing" style gas pedals on my car once, but it was so big every time I stepped on the brake my foot would catch a corner of the gas and rev it. It was like little toe-big toe instead of heel-toe. haha
