Well, after selling Suprastar the wheels I really liked, I picked up these old 13" American Racing rims.
13 inch 60's don't have much choice for tires. What do you people think? The stock steelie 13" 70's or these (after I clean them up. They're filthy.)?

I like them, the only thing I have against them is they make the car look like a monster truck, especially the back. If you plan to lower it or figure out some way to make it not sit like that, Id definitely choose those, if not, id personally probably just stay with the stock 13s.
Thats strange, arent they generally the same size? Why do these make the car look so much higher?

Razz
I actually just laid the wheels on the ground beside the car! I still have the stock steelies on stock suspension. Notice the shadows and lack of lug nuts.)
I hate the lowered look (did I say that out loud?).
These were from a gal who put them on her 74 Celica in 1974. Sadly, she sold the car long back, but kept the rims in her garage.

They are Falken Azenis RT-615K's 195/60R-14 ($93 each at Sears). The wheels are 14X5.5.

Mine are from 1964. Funny thing learning the new Ansen center caps will work on the originals.

Those rims look really nice... I've been trying to think of a narrower wheel than the Celica Supra rims I have. I think I'm gonna look into these.

Ah, you got me! lol i feel dumb now haha. Its no problem, I wasnt suggesting to go crazy and slam it or drop it so that you have no more fender space. Im not a huge fan of that either, but i do like when cars are actually "car" height and dont look like a 4x4 lol but i see why it looks like that now and i would definitely go with those over stock.
