4AC Bare Block, needs to be honed and rebuilt, all tread are good, nothing is stripped. $40

Are the carburettor and distributor still available? Obviously, I would be willing to pay all costs to ship from SoCal to Wisconsin. The distributor should theoretically be OK on a 4A-LC, right?

the VAU is different i bought a distributor on ebay advertised as for the 4ac but it wasnt. i swapped my old VAU and it sparked for a while but i think i have bigger problems anyway. if any one can input on wether it should work.

VAU - vacuum advance unit? If so, that's the part that I am unsure of on my current distributor, so, if that's different, that would be a problem.

In the case of both the distributor and carb, it's that I'm looking to rebuild the current parts, but can't afford any major downtime (I work 7 days a week). The vacuum advance doesn't seem to work on my daily driver, and while I think a thorough cleaning would fix the problem, I'm not sure I can justify pulling a part out that the engine needs to run - which works fine otherwise, by the way - to pull something apart that I'm not familiar with - which would mean that rebuilding a spare part would be ideal.

Same goes for the carb on my spare car.
