Been out of the car game for a little bit. Sold my Ford ZX2 project car after I knew I had got in over my head budget wise. But I knew I couldn't stay out of the game for long.
Got a '89 Sentra 5spd a few months ago and been having fun with it, but I need to keep it reliable as a daily. I said that my next car will be RWD as I always wanted to get into drifting (which is becoming really popular around here), but what I really miss is flying down dirt and gravel roads in my FWD Corolla. RallyX is also getting popular...
With that being said, I have another AE82 4AC 5spd sedan lined up. Guy said it snapped the timing belt and have been sitting for a few years. It's in pretty good shape, and I hope to apply all I learn from my old one to this new one. What I really like is that I won't have to worry about drivability or fuel economy with this one, so I can just focus on performance.
I've decided to keep it somewhat simple. Keep it N/A 4A-C, R1/FZR carbs, header, shaved head, port work, cam, and lightweight flywheel. All my other focus will go on the suspension.
