I want people to keep in mind that there are several different vehicles with 4AC, 3AC, and 1AC engines, and thats just in the USA. There are three different Corollas (AE7X RWD, AE82 FWD , and AE86 RWD chassis) with the 4AC, and the FWD AE82 and the RWD AE86 were in production at the same time. There are at least two different Tercels with the 1AC and the 3AC. Aside from the different chassis there are year to year variations and different emissions depending on where in the US the vehicle delivered.

Another thing is that this is a international forum. While the major parts of a 4AC or related engines may be the same, other parts like, emissions equipment, distributors, wiring harnesses, and lights may not be the same.

Before you jump in with info, use info you find, buy a part, etc. make sure that it applies to the vehicle at hand. When you post identify your vehicle, chassis type, model year, your location, and anything else that might be helpful. Much of this can be done in your profile, mine gives my location, my chassis type, and the model year.
