| Hi guys I bought some touchup spray paint in the same colour as my car to fix a paint issue on the roof of the car. But now that I have repainted I can see where I have painted because the original colour is shinier than the repainted section how can I fix this issue??? Its really noticeable!!! Should I sand down with 1000 grit sandpaper on the new paint as cut and polish isnt making a difference!

| I am gonna scrape all the new paint off and I am gonna do it again but a much lighter coat! and paint only the areas that need it!!!  gonna get my dad to do it though I am so crap at painting! | |

| concur on the clear coat make sure to get auto i used indoor/outdoor and i regret being lazy and cheap | |

| hahaha I have peeled most of the paint off and I will redo it but only lightly and only the parts that need it. I get a bit carried away when it comes to painting!!! I have learnt from this mistake! | |

| I have repainted the section on my cars roof, you can still tell the difference but it looks way better then before, Yeah about the clearcoat, I cannot find it at any auto shop??? | |

| In the US most parts stores don't carry quality paint, you usually have to go an automotive paint supplier, like the place a body shop would buy their stuff. | |
