It all depends on where you buy them. For instance I always buy them if I see them in e junkyard. I pay $15/wheel. Some private parties will want $200/set without tires. Others will want $60 with "decent" tires. If you don't find a good deal, wait it out. They aren't rare by ANY means. As your info states, you live in southern California. You should have no problem finding a clean set for under $100. As I always suggest to people. Buy the wheels, then put new tires on them. 195/60/14 is the magic number.
What part of California do you live? I might have some (dirty) polished Supras for sale soon. And I have no problem making a trip as I have family and friends there.
