PostSubject: I'm Back !   Tue Nov 03, 2009 8:13 am

Cool I'm BACK ! I'm sorry I was not able to update or reply to the site for SO long. I was in Afghanistan the 3 MONTHS ! If I had still been a soldier I would have had more time and privlidges with the internet time. However, with the limited time I did have, all I really wanted to do was read emails from my wife and family. GOD ! It's SO good to be home. Very Happy cheers

I know it may take a few days to catch up with everyone, but it's time to get fired up. I took a short vacation and the rest of this week, I'm cleaning my shop out. Thanks to deployment $ I'm actually able to add 20 x 20 more squair feet to expand my shop and finnally get myself a LIFT ! Oh, and incase you were wondering, the first car in line is my 86. The Ultamate 4ac has been VERY patently waiting in plastic for my return. Well, wait no longer ! The time has COME. pirat

Once again, it's great to be home.

Very Happy I WAS an Army Ranger for 6 years. I was attached to the 82nd LRSD "Long Range Survailance Detachment". "RECON"
I did 3 combat tours, 2 in Iraq and one in Afganistan. I got out of the service in late 04 and went to work for a company called "Mission Tech" Now I'm a UAV instructor pilot and field tech. Cool
However, my job took me back to Afganistan. Cool But this time as a civilan, make'n the big $.

My block, rods and crank are gze 7 rib. The crank pullies for ge and ac have different spacing. Due to that spacing I had to switch water pumps from AC to GE, to correct the distance. I also had to use a ge alternator because the ac alt would not fit the ge bracket.

If you need more, I can send pics later. Showing the differences. This is why my build took so long. It is literaly a frankinstien.

Man, i'm jealous!
I originally was going to sign under the Army's 18x contract
but, I decided to go Airforce and become a Combat Weatherman.
I'm currently conditioning while i wait until they send me off to basic.
I need to be in top shape if I want any chance in making it.

Anyways, much respect to you for being a Ranger.
Any job that requires you to go middle east better be paying you good!
Your life could be at stake.

Very Happy Thanks, and good luck with your basic. Keep jogging those miles, you'll thank yourself later.
