I think he is looking for the fuel injected version. The motor it's self. I think it was actually a 3A motor, and from the Japanese market... Maybe try a Japanese import place... but you are talking about an ancient engine for Japan Razz

I don't think that you will find a 3AE or 4AE manifold of any sort in the US. If you take a trip to Europe or Asia (excluding Japan) you might find one in a wrecking yard.

There are a variety of ways to do fuel injection, there is not one correct recipe of parts. It will depend on how you want to go about it, and what ECU you use. Have a look around on some EFI websites and forums, read a book, etc. And I would not just repost the question on one of the EFI forums, they don't resond in detail to these kind of requests either.

You can find parts SOMETIMES at " rinkya.com " Japans ebay. Rolling Eyes It's not like I would have any of these parts or anything, but somewhere in about stage 3 you might see what your looking for. ]

The pictured engine is a 4AE which came in the European spec Carina. Could be other vehicles as well. The 3AELU came in one or two years of Japanese spec AE82, I don't think it made it to Europe. Neither came in the US.

Yes they are both for front drive cars. Odds are you will have to do some work to the manifold plus making some other parts to get it plumbed in (air and fuel). It also might not fit under the hood of a RWD Corolla or have other interferance issues. But it's unlikely that you will be able to get one unless you live somewhere other than the US (Japan, Aus/NZ, Europe, or possibly somehwere else in Asia). It's a pain in the ass to do the customs stuff for commercial international shipments, if I had a choice between selling a part I had put on Ebay to someone in the US or someone in a another country I would choose the domestic buyer in heartbeat. If you look on Ebay many sellers say that they won't do international sales either, so it will be proabably be a challenge to find someone willing to deal with you.
