Now I don't know how long these will last, nor do I really care since I can always pull it out and/or redo them again...so it was just to pass my time...

It was litterally sitting under a tree. i asked the guy and he told me 1500. weeks went by. i asked agian came down to 1000 i told him i would be back in a month. he never had a for sale sign in it. it just sat there. i knocked on the door and told him what i had. he said no less than 400. i saved up the money and rolled over and drove it home.

This is my car, the thing i like the most of it is that a can smoke almost any 1.3lts newer cars with my 4A (it has a 5 spd manual trans)

I bought it from a friend who did maintain it very well since 1988 when bought new, i have it since 2005. I rebuilt the engine by myself and almost every repair it needs is done by me if i have the time.

Any questions? here it is.

Those pics were taken in a parking lot of the ULA (Universidad de Los Andes).

This is my 4AC engined SR-5 Corolla in action at a rallyX.

The end idea is that it is supposed to be a rally car. It had a Weber 32/36DGV, but I have had several problems with it so I am in the process of converting to fuel injection. I have a Microsquirt ECU which is the smaller sealed case version of the Megaquirt. I am making a new manifold to go with the injection, I will go into this in more detail when this is complete (or at least farther on).

I also have a Schneider 260 ...

I got this back in march. 84 SR5 with a 4ac. I wanted to do a swap with a 20v but I dont have that kind of money and time. This car is my daily driver. I just recently rebuilt the motor with new internals, seals, gaskets you name it. All the internals are stock. I upgraded to a weber 32/36 eliminated all my emission components except for the charcoal canister. I have headers from BRD and custom exhaust from the header on with a high flow cat from Sweeney's in carson. Planning to upgrade my distributor ...

Got this car a month ago. Forgot to take pics. Love this car to death. Just recently installed Kokico Blues in the rear because rear shocks were gone. Some rusty parts but i shall fix them. Gonna add fog lights/change steering wheel/new head lights/install hand brake (it broke so a rock was a sub. hand brake LOL =D)/change ALL fluids. i should've done that a while ago but i decided to do it when i did a major change.

Hey everybody, I bet you can tell from my name what I paid for this thing. It's been sitting in my father-in-law's driveway for the last 8-9 years. He told me I can have it if I can get it running. Well, now that I'm laid off from my real job, I have time to finally mess with it!

It doesn't run. I put a new battery in it and it will turn over, but won't fire up. I've got a few ideas what the problem could be, but havn't had time to try anything yet. So I'll keep the repair/build thread ...

This picture is when I first got it, I will post updated shots when I get the chance.

So here is the story guys, while having a 2000 nissan sentra as a daily driver I was on a mission to find another car as a toy for myself. Now the normal person would have contacted the seller of the 240sx, negotiated a price and bought the car right away. But I was not the normal person. The reason It had taken me so long to finally find a car ...
