Hey guys, ever since I first got my ae86 the defrost has not worked. When I turn on the rear defrost the light on the switch goes on but the window doesnt heat up. When I turn on the front defrost it just blows out the normal vents, not the windshield ones. I am not knowledgeable with anything electrical so I could really use some help.

They are both 2 different issues. The front is most likely either something with your box where the heater core is, or something related to the "cables" (for lack of a better term) that connect them. You may also want to make sure that the "cables" are connected as sometimes if the control unit breaks, then that can be an issue too.

I don't know too much about the rear.. the best suggestion that I can give you is to check that you don't see any breaks in the defrost lines across the window
