2 injector drivers? like wasted spark? ,inject 1 and 4 and then injects 2 an 3
but no 1 3 4 2
so ur set up will inject 2 x 2?
well if im right with my interpretation ,is very dificult to tune?

Nearly every fuel injected car in the 70's and 80's was done this way from the factory, I don't blieve that it's any harder to tune than sequential injection. In fact it might be easier as you have to decide on the injection timing with the sequential.

Quote:
uhmm ,so i can connect the factory distributor to the micro and modify the timing to any grade i want?of course depending of the fuel or mixture

You can do this but on cars that did not come with computer controlled timing (like the 4AC and 3AC) you will have to change the ignition module out for one that can accept timing signals from the ECU.

It can also run a pulse width modulation idle valve, but not a stepper motor type.

i dont get this

Pulse width modulation idle valves are two settings, like on and off or low and high. The ECU varies the time at each setting to control the idle speed. Ford and most Bosch equiped European cars use this type. Stepper motor idle valves have a large of number of openings that they can set to. GM cars use this type.

the ethanol and the gasoline are mixed or in different tanks?

or thanks to the sensor it can injects the right mixture for idle, power and etc¿

They are mixed together in one tank. Here in the US in some parts of the country you can buy a gasoline/ethanol mix at regular gas stations. To get the fueling as close to ideal as possible you need to know the proportion of gasoline to alcohol, so this sensor makes up for variations in the fuel and allows you to run regular gasoline if no mix is available.

Some progress- the crank position sensor wheel has been machined, the stock pulley modified to mount the wheel, and the whole assembly has been mocked up on an engine. I had previously fabricated a sensor mount but it's not quite right, so I will redo it wit a machined part instead. Heres a pic of the assembly mounted up:

Well, keep in mind that there is more than one way to do it and I did not choose the easiest route. You could do it it with a fair bit less work if you wanted, although theres alot to learn and work to do in any case.

Some more parts:

The new billet crank position sensor mount

On the engine

It seems to be right this time. I will get the corect length bolts and do a proper install in the car. The mount is kind of chunky, after I make sure it fits right I will have to figure out how to take some more material out. It's not the prettiest thing ever but it's way stiffer than the last one. I did it on a manual machine (no CNC unfortunately) and this is only the second part I have done on my own, so I had to design it so I could make with my meager machining skills.

The fuel rail.

This was the first part I machined on my own. It turned out fairly well. It's not quite done, I still have to get my dad to face off the ends and tap both ends for the banjo fittings for fuel inlet and outlet. I did not want to try to do that part on the machine I was using.

That is some pretty good work.
Must feel nice to have access to those machines.
Makes a lot of things easier.
